At KPMG we have a team of Communications Advisors who work with our clients who to provide support and guidance in the delivery of communications strategies and initiatives as well as assisting with media and public relations on behalf of our clients.

As a Communications Specialist, you will have a solid background in communications and be capable of shaping the big picture and ensuring it is conveyed clearly in all written communications. You should be passionate about the power of communication and employee engagements and enjoy helping diverse audiences engage in the content you produce. You thrive in a collaborative and innovative culture and want to join a firm that values problem solvers, the kind of people who reimagine the possible for their clients and key stakeholders.

  • Have demonstrable experience in the delivery of communication expertise ideally for both the public and private sectors
  • Understanding of social media channels in relation to communication planning and strategy, as well as an ability to manage media issues.
  • Have developed digital or online content
  • Clearly demonstrated stakeholder engagement skills with an understanding the political environment and superior diplomacy skills.
  • Been a member of a team or managed a team that has provided end to end support of a project.

Supporting your experience tertiary qualifications in a related discipline are highly advantageous. You should also be an Australian Citizen or have the ability to obtain a government security clearance.
