The venture represents the first time a leading professional services firm (KPMG), a major bank (CBA) and a global technology company (Microsoft) have come together to co-develop innovative solutions. Wiise delivers world-class enterprise software to Australian small and medium businesses (SMEs).

Your Opportunity

WIISE, clever business software owned by KPMG, is looking for a passionate cloud infrastructure and release manager to join our innovative, agile team on a permanent basis. This position provides a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, rapidly growing technology company with a start-up’s agility backed by global enterprise experience and reach.

This opportunity requires you to be responsible for maintaining and improving our cloud-based platform in Microsoft Azure as well as work closely with our product development team to manage the regular deployment of product builds across test and production environments.  

You will be required to:

  • Take ownership of various Azure platform cloud services.
  • Manage regular deployments of our product to production, development and test environments.
  • Architect, build, and maintain rock solid infrastructure using Microsoft technologies.
  • Track infrastructure availability, performance and capacity as well as make recommendations to improve system health.
  • Proactive monitoring, logging, audits, and automated policy enforcement for security and cost compliance.

To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience could include:

  • Bachelor degree or Master in Computer Science.
  • Extensive experience of technology operation in a software development environment with a SaaS company.
  • Hands on experience of cloud work experience (AWS/Azure/private cloud).
  • Microsoft/Azure infrastructure certifications preferred.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute in a high-pressure environment.
  • Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Desirable Skills

  • Strong automation skills with scripting languages (Powershell preferred)
  • Formal training and experience in agile project management practices
  • Azure DevOps/VSTS experience
  • Office 365 Admin Experience
