With further growth, we have an exciting opportunity available for a Business Analyst/Project Manager withbapproximately 2-3yrs experience to join our internal technology group in KPMG. You will be working in a dynamic team delivering a three year strategy that is transforming the private clients section of the firm from both an internal and external perspective. You will play a key role in implementing a range of major platform based projects that will change the way our people interact with systems and clients. 

The role: Combining your expertise in Business Analysis and Project management you will -

  • Play a key role in the technology team to coordinate and deliver BAU system changes as well as broader projects
  • Help experienced consultants and engineers with stakeholder communication, documentation, and co-ordinating a range of project activities
  • Work on multiple projects and manage competing priorities to deliver against project timelines to strategy
  • Conduct QA and Testing including the preparation of upgrades for deployment
  • Defect management during testing and implementation
  • Vendor communications and management to ensure projects are kept on track

The perfect candidate will have a mix of the following skills, experiences and capabilities:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT, MIS or another relevant discipline
  • Experience in ICT project management, business analysis and requirements elicitation, plus testing methodologies and documentation
  • Broad IT knowledge and familiarisation with the software development Life Cycle
  • Strong communication skills with a proactive and action-oriented mindset
  • You’ll be a stickler for processes and documentation with an excellent eye for detail
  • Be organised and able to self-prioritise multiple tasks
  • Be able to travel within Australia for 2-3 days at a time on occasion
  • Be flexible on work hours at times to manage system upgrades
  • Experience in data storage infrastructure, Microsoft SharePoint and Power BI as well as Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Office 365) is ideal but not essential
