The Business Analyst is responsible for defining business requirements and success criteria for KPMG delivered Software as a Service applications. You will be working closely with subject matter experts from across the business to translate their ideas and opportunities into clearly documented specifications to enable successfully development.

Your role

As a Business Analyst, you will deliver results by:

  • Written capability in articulating clear and concise requirements
  • Identifying and understanding the client business context, demands and opportunities.
  • Facilitating workshops and eliciting business requirements
  • Creating User Stories and Process Maps
  • Creating wireframes and collaborating to define digital solutions 
  • Designing and developing Process, Training and Support documentation
  • Working on digital SaaS based projects
  • Partnering and engaging with system architects and technical developers
  • Working in a blended agile/waterfall environment
  • Effectively engaging with vendors, stakeholders and our internal teams
  • Working with vendor and/or offshore resources
  • Liaison with external team members (e.g. project manager, business subject matter experts, Testers) in the production of a finished product.
  • Using Confluence and Jira

You will bring to the role

In order to be successful in this role you will require:

  • High level of English literacy. Excellent writing and speaking skills.
  • 5 years’ experience working as a business analyst in software development (SaaS).
  • Experience project managing activities with tight deadlines and multiple stakeholders and multiple projects.
  • SCRUM and/or Prince 2 and/or PMBOK Certification (preferred but not required)
  • Team player with excellent collaboration skills
  • Experience dealing with stakeholders at all levels and with considerable level of autonomy.
  • Exceptional written capability in articulating clear and concise requirements
  • Experience facilitating workshops and eliciting business requirements (in person or remote)
  • Experience creating User Stories and Process Maps
  • High competency with Confluence and Jira
