Associate Director - Customer, Brand and Marketing Advisory (FMCG/Retail sectors)

Your new role

You will be a key member of the team responsible for:

  • managing the delivery of multiple engagements with a focus on Sales Transformation with a broad range of MCG and retail clients and those in other sectors, including:

    • Collaborating as part of cross-functional teams to deliver holistic solutions for clients
    • providing clients with strategic and commercial advice, including insights and recommendations enabled by our Customer Experience methodology, structured thinking, other technical knowledge
    • managing day-to-day engagement with clients and KPMG teams to understand root cause issues, potential solutions and articulate business benefits
    • managing client deliverables and expectations, including drafting client reports and presentations, communications and building relationships
  • playing a key role in identifying opportunities for future service delivery and leading business development activities
  • playing an active role in supporting the development of the CBMA team and fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture of work including skills coaching, technical training and mentoring.

You bring to the role

A consulting, marketing, economics or sales background coupled with:

  • significant experience in sales transformation or sales operations management
  • ideally, experience in a management consulting position
  • Experience in guiding or governing multiple sales channels including sales teams and/or contact centre operations
  • highly developed written and verbal communication particularly when communicating on an engagement to a wide range of stakeholders up to C-Level.
  • the ability to manage all aspects of a project including facilitating workshops, influencing and guiding key stakeholders and mentoring team members.
  • ability to apply structured thinking and analysis techniques to complex and ambiguous problems
  • ability to juggle competing demands and work in a dynamic environment
  • appropriate tertiary qualifications.
