Assistant Manager, Internal Audit

A key component of KPMG's Enterprise, Audit Assurance and Risk practice is our Internal Audit Team, who work with boards and management to achieve optimal governance, and risk and control environments that support organisations strategic and operational priorities.

Internal Audit delivers a range of services across Internal Audit, Compliance, Controls, Transformation and Corporate Governance within the Government, Healthcare, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Transport, Mining, Corporate and Financial Services industries.

Due to current growth in our business and increasing client demand, we are currently recruiting professionals to join our Internal Audit team in Brisbane.

As a member of our high performing team, you will be responsible for the following:

o             Executing and delivering on a variety of internal audits, compliance and business process reviews.

o             Understanding the clients business, and reporting on observations and improvement opportunities.

o             Maintaining strong relationships with the client during and post engagements

To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience could include:

o             Recent experience in an internal audit or risk associated role

o             Highly developed report writing, communication and presentation skills

o             Ability to analyse information quickly using innovative solutions to solve complex problems

o             Strong attention to detail

o             An ability to lead or mentor staff

o             Relevant tertiary qualification, post-grad qualifications such as CIA/CPA/CA will be viewed favourably
