KPMG’s Motor Industry Service (MIS) division specialises in providing taxation, accounting, audit, advisory as well as training & consulting for dealer groups and manufacturers.

Our division (just like the automotive industry) is transforming and we’re looking for a full time Support Consultant to join our Parramatta/Sydney based team to provide implementation and application support for our new Automotive Intelligence Portal (AIP).

Your New Role:

  • Perform a wide variety of assignments, including completing tasks for new implementations of AIP’s product suite, annual financial statement changes, data migration, and special projects including training content development and delivery
  • Perform high quality ongoing client support and helpdesk functions for the AIP with some travel to visit client sites
  • Provide automotive retail subject matter guidance, and assist in compiling and presenting analysis of dealer financial and operational performance to various audiences, internal and external
  • Perform quality assurance testing and training of new and upgraded versions of software to meet scheduled release dates, including update of manuals and procedures.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Have or studying toward a business qualification with strong accounting and technical emphasis from an accredited institution
  • 1+ years of financial analysis, and financial experience in a dealership or automotive OEM environment would be highly regarded.
  • Familiarity with Dealer Management Systems would be an asset
  • Some experience working in a client engagement, business support role
  • Sound analytical and troubleshooting skills and ability to identify discrepancies in data
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, most importantly strong Microsoft Excel skills including an understanding of MS Excel for charting and graphing of data, writing formulas, and/or filtering, sorting, and formatting data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with a knack for being able to adapt your style to match your audience
  • Experience in delivering exceptional customer experiences
