About your role

Right now we’re on the lookout for a Regulatory Manager to support our Natural Gas and Electricity team at our Murdoch Offices. As the newest member of the Kleenheat team, you’ll report to our Commercial Manager and be responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of regulatory compliance for the reticulated gas retailing operations (both LPG and Natural Gas) and retail electricity undertaken by Kleenheat in Western Australia.

This will include:

  • Ensuring safety remains priority number one.
  • Leading audits on gas trading related documentation and systems.
  • Developing compliance and training documentation.
  • Keeping up to date with current regulations as well as monitoring proposed changes.
  • Assessing the business impact of proposed changes and assisting draft submissions and responses.
  • Building strong relationships internally and with external regulatory bodies.

To excel in the role you’ll need the right mix of skills and experience, which for this position means:

  • A tertiary degree in a relevant field such as, Business, Commerce or Law.
  • Extensive experience with regulatory compliance and application of regulatory frameworks.
  • Strategic focus.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Proven ability to lead change, and improve performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
