Located in modern offices at Pymble train station and working as part of
a small, professional and highly productive team, this is a unique opportunity
to work directly with the Principal and external professionals of this
successful entity.
About the
role:
- Flexible hours – work your days any time
between 9am and 5pm, approximately 10 to 20 hours per week.
- Working during school holidays is optional
- Preparation
of financial statements and tax returns for multiple companies, trusts,
superannuation funds and individuals.
- Preparation
of Business Activity Statements/Instalment Activity Statements
- Use of
your knowledge of UPE, FTE, CGT, Div 7A and Franking Credits
- QA of all
accounts, documents and working papers produced in consultation with external
advisors to ensure compliance with all statutory and ATO requirements
- Maintenance
of Company and Trust Files and all associated Deeds and Minutes
- Liaising
with external legal and accounting advisers and implementation of their
recommendations and instructions
- Management
of the Debt compliance program with Banking institutions
- Establishment
of new Companies and Trusts and all associated documents and accounts
About you:
The successful applicant will:
- Be an Accounting
Professional with Business Services or Property background will be very highly
regarded, however is not essential
- Have a minimum
of 4 years’ experience in a similar position, having completed, started or
about to start your CPA /CA
- Be highly
organised and exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work
autonomously
- Possess strong
computer skills – Microsoft Office suite and MYOB
- Have excellent
written and verbal communication skills
- Be positive
and with a proactive attitude towards work & with a "can-do"
attitude.
The successful applicant will be appropriately rewarded with a pro-rata
remuneration package commensurate with the nature of this role.
