ICT Security Analyst

$95,745 plus 15% superannuation

Ongoing, Full-Time opportunity

Icon Water has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a dynamic and committed ICT Security Analyst to join our team. Icon Water is undergoing a business transformation program, replacing or upgrading the majority of operational systems across the organisation. This incorporates a move from on-premises infrastructure to AWS and Azure cloud platforms.

You would be the senior person responsible for managing ICT security across Icon Water.

Icon Water is responsible for owning and operating Canberra’s network of water and wastewater infrastructure and assets including dams, reservoirs, water and sewerage treatment plants, water and sewerage pumping stations to ensure the delivery of safe drinking water and reliable sewerage services. Icon Water has been part of the Canberra community for 100 years.

Duties

What does the role look like?

  • Responsible for information security and cyber threat protection across Icon Water.
  • You will develop and deliver the Icon Water ICT Security Strategy, including supporting architecture, procedures and training.
  • You will be responsible for implementation, administration and maintaining ICT security technology.
  • You will take ownership of the ICT security testing to assess system and organisational risk.
  • Respond to ICT security incidents and undertake post incident reviews.

What we are looking for?

  • A relevant tertiary qualifications in ICT and industry recognised ICT Security technical certification.
  • Proven experience providing ICT Security services.
  • Understanding of the ASD Information Security framework.
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Experience in cloud adoption.
  • Strong problem solving, negotiation and facilitation skills.
