Human Resources Coordinator (part-time) - Chatswood

Our HR team is looking for an experienced administrator who would enjoy administering payroll alongside day to day HR activities. With good general knowledge of Australian workplace entitlements, you will provide advice to staff and support managers with information and reporting.

We are looking for an individual who is available to work 20 hours per week on a pro rata salary of between $80-85,-000 per annum. The hours are flexible if you are looking to work 3,4 or 5 days around your own commitments.

You will be responsible for:

  • Responsible for assisting in the administering of HR policies and procedures that span a comprehensive array of functional areas
  • Partnering closely with respective sales and non-sales departments to facilitate their business objectives and proactively address and resolve routine and complex problems
  • Provide an insight into developing the best candidate sourcing methods
  • Become the systems expert for administering and processing salaried payroll
  • Ensure activities comply with legal and ethical standards as well as company policies

You will need

  • 1-2 years’ experience within HR with a sound knowledge of human resources principles and practices
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or relevant subjects (law/industrial relations/business) preferred
  • Experience using HRIS data entry, Ascender (Preceda) is desirable
  • Strong organisational and planning skills
  • A commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
  • Unquestionable integrity, and positive attitude
  • Exemplary customer service skills
  • Experience with reporting and analytics, including general proficiency in Excel
