Full Stack Developer

Help us translate beautiful UI Designs into pixel perfect developed front ends to revolutionise how our Corporate Asset Finance customers interact with us!

As a full-stack developer, with a bias towards front end development, you will join a team of passionate technologists who are revolutionising how our customers engage with our products. In this stimulating role, you will be working on several initiatives and various technologies, as well as gain exposure to strategic initiatives including Cloud migration and DevOps transition.

Within our team you will have a passion for all things JavaScript, Typescript, React/Redux and other supporting JS framework. You will have experience building technically feasible UI/UX designs into elegant, scalable and well tested/documented code.

We expect that to be successful in this unique team and role that you will come from a strong computer science background and also have:

  • proficiency with ReactJS frameworks and experience creating APIs to support front end features
  • advanced knowledge in ES6, HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Node.js and reactive front end frameworks and with automated module bundlers such as Webpack
  • experience with source code management workflows across multiple teams with Git (Stash/Bitbucket)
  • ability to implement a fully automated CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins/Bamboo/Teamcity, from code checking to production deployment
  • experience working in fast paced agile delivery environment and manage work via JIRA or a similar tracking tool
  • ability to design and implement unit test cases, integration test cases and performance test cases for APIs and UI components.

Ideally you will also have hands on experience in developing RESTful APIs using JAX-RS, JSON and an understanding of on-trend microservices architectures as well as Core and Enterprise Java and have commercial experience in using Java 8 and its relevant features.
