Employer Brand & Digital Marketing Specialist


Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Employer Branding, you’ll be responsible for a supporting and managing a wide range of PR, communications, employer branding and recruitment marketing activities.

You’ll work closely with our sales and employer partners to design, plan, implement and evaluate employer brand campaigns that drive community growth, build highly engaged pools of talent for critical and high frequency roles, and position our clients as employers of choice for workplace flexibility and gender equality.

To be successful in this newly created role, you’ll need a degree in a communications or marketing discipline, together with exceptional copywriting skills and a flair for graphic design. You’ll have at least four years post-graduate marketing experience, including specific employer branding experience gained in a creative agency or in-house environment.

You’re all about planning and creating campaigns that deliver real results, ensuring that our clients EVP is captured and communicated in compelling campaigns that build trust and loyalty within a tightly defined demographic.

You will be responsible for developing and managing employer brand campaigns, as well as ad-hoc marketing communications to effectively position our clients EVP within their target market. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Campaign design, management and measurement
  • Developing content strategy and communications plans
  • Communications and content development
  • Social media growth and engagement (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, You Tube)
  • Developing relationships with client brand, communications, corporate affairs and PR teams
  • Copy writing for website, blogs and op-eds
  • Developing e-marketing campaigns and monitoring success
  • Supporting research projects, collating and analysing data

FlexCareers is a fast-paced, fun and flexible environment, and you’ll need to have exceptional organisation skills and the ability to work independently, with energy and enthusiasm.

From a tech perspective, you’ll need to be fairly savvy. Skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) would be highly regarded, and you’ll need to be proficient in social media scheduling tools, Wordpress and Microsoft Office Suite. Exposure to Atlassian/Jira and basic knowledge of HTML and Google Ad Words / Google Analytics would also be fabulous, but not essential.
