Financial Assistance Solutions (FAS) assists retail banks customers in the management of their financial commitments by working towards a mutually agreeable payment solution. The financial Assist team deal with all of the products offered by Retail Banking services as Credit Cards, Home Loans, Personal Loans, and Overdrawn Personal Accounts. In many instances these matters are sensitive therefore the need to deliver excellent and courteous customer service is essential. We pride ourselves on the feedback we have received from the many customers that we help get back on track with their payments.
The role of the Financial Assist Specialist is to make a real impact on the lives of Commbanks customers. You will provide customer assistance to borrowers that are suffering a life changing event (hardship), which affects their ability to meet their loan commitments to the bank. The focus of the role is to assess the hardship proposal and negotiate a solution that meets the customer's needs while considering the current policy and the overall risk to the bank.

In addition to this, you will have an understanding of relevant legislation under the Personal Credit Approval Authority.

We have Part-time and Full time hours available for these roles, however the training is full time for 6 weeks.
