Supply Chain Sustainability Senior Manager - Melbourne


 

We have an opportunity for an experienced Manager or Senior Manager to join our growing Climate Change and Sustainability team in Melbourne. You'll work as part of and help to lead a multidisciplinary team assisting business, government and non-profit organisations identify, develop and deliver sustainability strategies, manage risks and enhance transparency.  

 

We are looking for a motivated sustainability professional who is focused on sustainability risk and reporting, supply chain and modern slavery and working with our clients to improve the sustainability of their businesses.  

About you

An opportunity is available for professionals with 5-10 years’ experience in sustainability management, including:   

  • Management of sustainability risks and opportunities in supply chain and procurement aligned with ISO 20400
  • Knowledge of human rights and modern slavery risks in Australia and global supply chains
  • Management of organisational sustainability risks and opportunities and compliance requirements
  • Engaged with current and emerging trends in sustainability and best practice in CSR management
  • Business development through business networks and responding to requests for proposal
  • Strong report writing skills, preferably including organisational sustainability disclosures such as Global Reporting Index, Integrated Reporting, DJSI and CDP
  • Outstanding problem solving, project and time management skills.

 

Experience in the following areas is also preferable:

  • Conducting materiality assessments
  • Providing assurance over sustainability reports and other non-financial information (applying assurance standards such as ISAE3000 and AA1000)
  • Indigenous issues including developing and implementing Reconciliation Action Plans
  • Facilitating training/workshops and presenting, event management
  • Professional services/consulting
  • Industry and/or government

 

You will also ideally be university qualified.
