Marketing Coordinator - Melbourne (12 month contract)


About the opportunity


The Marketing Co-ordinator will report to the Geographic Marketing Leader and work closely with the Melbourne team to implement local and national programs in order to build brand, reputation and relationships for the firm.

In your role as Marketing Coordinator you will:

  • Responsible for executing marketing events across arts, corporate hospitality and technical briefings
  • Assist in the management of project budgets and report on the return on investment (ROI)
  • Assist in the implementation of other marketing programs and campaigns
  • Implement and share best practice marketing processes within the firm
  • Liaise and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders

We are looking for people with the following:

  • Qualification in Marketing or related discipline
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience in writing invitations and other client facing materials
  • Experience in event planning, management and execution in a variety of sizes and formats
  • Strong project management and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong negotiating skills, particularly with external suppliers / third parties
  • Highly experienced with the use of social media and able to apply to the role
