Marketing Coordinator - Japananese Business Services - Sydney

The opportunity
 

As Marketing Coordinator working with our Japanese Business Services group you'll be working in a small team to provide vital support to a team of senior professionals, promoting Japanese Business in Australia. You'll enable efficient operations and allow the team to focus on providing the best possible service to their clients, as well as coordinate business events such as seminars, forums and presentations. You will also support the team extensively in the group’s marketing and business development effort. The people you'll work with will be supportive and you'll enjoy working with them in, what can be a very fast paced environment.


Your key responsibilities

  • Managing various types of client functions;
  • Coordinating thought leadership (eg. article, alert and flash);
  • Drafting and distributing internal newsletters;
  • Maintaining team profiles and managing external website;
  • Scheduling various executive meetings and arranging travel
  • Managing multiple emails, phones, and diaries;
  • Handling confidential information with professional discretion;
  • Lots of ad hoc projects;
  • Managing expenses, and timesheets
  • Administration support to other staff as required. 


To qualify for the role you must have

  • A good deal of experience in an executive assistant role working within a large national or multinational organisation where you've developed advanced computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint).
  • You are also able to learn other new business software at ease.
  • Your strong communication skills, problem solving ability and professionalism are important in interacting with and handling correspondence from a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Your ability to complete multiple administrative support tasks and projects in a deadline driven environment will be highly valued.
  • Preferred candidate must be able to speak, read and write business Japanese at native level, as well as have a thorough understanding of the Japanese business market including Japanese business etiquettes. 
  • Applicants must have the right to work in Australia. 
  • Experience in CRM is an advantage
