Learning and Development Event Coordinator - Sydney


Do you love organising events? We are looking for an energetic and passionate Learning Events Coordinator who loves working on all aspects of event planning for our Learning & Development team in Sydney.

The opportunity

 

Our growing team is looking for someone to support the Talent Development Team with successfully executing Learning & Development events across Oceania.

Your key responsibilities

 

You will support the L&D Events team in the coordination and delivery of Learning & Development events in Oceania and Asia Pacific in accordance with the L&D events calendar. As the Event Coordinator, you will lead the coordination of all associated event logistics such as catering, monitoring pre-work completion, participant communications, distributing program materials, onsite support. You will also be responsible for the Development of content for Cvent, SharePoint, Joining Instructions, newsletters and social media.

  • Demonstrated success in developing and producing events as a form of learning for participants
  • Demonstrated success managing a wide range of projects and budgets.
  • Proactive driver for refining and improving events upon events.

  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills including flexibility and resilience skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Creative and innovative skills
  • Learning, insurance and financial services industry knowledge in an advantage

To qualify for the role you must

  • Have strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Have the ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment.
  • Be a proactive team player with excellent time management skills and high attention to detail.
  • Have at least two years of experience in an event management role

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience in professional services, where you’ve developed a strong client focus and the skills required to lead and support the successful delivery of events
