Internal Resourcing Consultant/Manager – Financial Services Advisory, Sydney

EY is looking to hire an individual who has experience managing a busy temp desk and is interested in making the move into an internal role.
 
The Internal Resourcing Consultant is a resource management and workforce planning specialist who works in our Financial Services Advisory Service Line.  The role is to work closely with our teams to help maximise business performance and deliver on our talent promise through proactive management of our client-facing staff. This is obtained by, allocating the right people, to the right role, at the right time, supporting project demand prioritisation and supply augmentation and identifying and providing insight in regards to workforce planning and skills, capability and trends.
 
The Internal Resourcing Consultant is the key contact for strategic resource allocation and capacity management of our client facing staff.  The Resourcing Consultant uses their specialist knowledge and relationships to ensure we maximise productivity and develop our client-facing staff through their on the job experiences.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Allocate staff in a dynamic ever-changing environment
  • Monitor staff availability through the firm's resource management system (Retain)
  • Deliver timely staffing solutions for our client projects
  • Assist our people to get on the job experiences to enable their development and growth
  • Escalate skill gaps for recruiting and upskill opportunities
  • Assist leadership providing key information on their resource pools and becoming a trusted advisor in resourcing matters
  • Manage key relationships with our leadership team, staff, Talent, and Finance teams

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Experience in resource management/recruitment or business operations within a professional services environment
  • Refined relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to navigate a complex environment
  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Strong communication (both written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Strong personal integrity and adherence to strict confidentiality
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels
