Executive Assistant, Part-time (Thursday and Friday), 12 month contract @ EY Perth

We have an experienced EA opportunity available in the Perth office within the Tax service line where you will be supporting Partners and some Directors of our busy tax practice.

This role is part-time two days per week on a Thursday and Friday and will be a 12 month contract.  




About you
This will be a challenging yet rewarding role for someone with excellent organisational skills, has high attention to detail, analytical and solutions focused. You will be confident with a mature and calm disposition, reliable, flexible and have a friendly and positive personality.
The Perth EA team have a fantastic sense of community who are very supportive of one another.  As a group, they have strong relationships with each other and are always there to cover / back each other up for leave purposes wherever needed.


 Key competencies required:

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills in Word , Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to understand and/or learn account management
  • Intermediate skills in Outlook
  • Intermediate CRM Capability
  • Strong and mature approach to clients and stakeholders
  • Experience booking overseas travel arrangements

About the role
We are looking for candidates with the following experience and attributes:

  • Quick to establish professional relationships and rapport with key stakeholders, clients and other EAs
  • Complex diary management
  • Excellent attention to detail and consistency of output in all areas, and specifically with a high volume of document formatting
  • Accurately book interstate and overseas travel and accommodation as required
  • Event management and coordination
  • Book internal and client meetings including arranging meeting rooms / catering
  • Enjoy working in a busy team environment
  • Prepare and process expenses and AMEX in compliance with firm policies and guidelines
  • Compile, update and maintain client contacts, mailing lists and activities using CRM
  • Proactive self-starter who can work autonomously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Effective problem solver, even in the most challenging or difficult situations
  • Ability to understand professional pressures and remain calm and resilient under these circumstances
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills
  • Actively support the Firm’s vision and strategies including embracing and promoting change
