We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Environmental Planner to take a role with our rapidly growing Brisbane Environmental Planning Team to further drive and expand on the team's recent successes with major infrastructure projects and key land development clients.  This role has the opportunity to support the future direction of the division and collaborate strongly not only with key external clients but also to our other internal service groups across the business.

A key attribute for this position is a strong understanding of Queensland environmental and planning legislation. This foundation will be supplemented by your experience and knowledge in the following:

·    Relevant tertiary degree qualifications in town planning and/or environmental planning. A mix of experience or qualifications in these fields would be ideal.

·    Between 2 to 5 years post-graduate experience

·    Ability to prepare and manage environmental approvals and development applications, site and land use assessments, planning scheme
     amendments, strategic planning reports, framework plans, strategies, and policies

·    Ability to work as part of a team of like-minded professionals to deliver on a high volume of workload at a professional and presentable

·    Experience liaising with internal and external stakeholders and providing sound and accurate advice.

·    Excellent communication skills including report writing

Other pre-requisites for the position are:

·         Valid driver’s licence
