The Defence Science Technology’s (DST) Scientific Engineering Services (SES) deliver specialised multi-disciplinary scientific engineering, design and fabrication solutions which contributes to maintaining DST’s position at the forefront of Australian Defence innovation and National Security operations.SES fosters a culture of excellence, world leading capability and strong external partnerships dedicated to supporting the engineering needs of DST.

Duties

SES is seeking to engage a skilled and enthusiastic electronic engineer who is looking to develop a career in hosted and embedded electronic hardware and software sub-systems, working at the leading edge of engineering.The successful applicant will undertake project management, design development, review, manufacture and implementation activities and will collaborate across the spectrum of mechanical, electronic, micro-engineering and applied imaging design environments You will be required to have relevant qualifications (preferably an academic degree or higher) and demonstrated experience.The position is open to those in the early stages of a career at the S&T level 3, through to experienced professionals at the S&T level 4.
