Electrical Technician


Currently we are looking for an Electrical Technician to join our M7 Westlink Maintenance team based out of Eastern Creek. You will be working on various roads industry projects within the Sydney region. This is an excellent opportunity to develop key tolling and other technical motorway infrastructure experience.

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, your duties will include; Installation, repair, reactive and preventative maintenance activities for a wide variety of plant and equipment (Inclusive of Tolling, VMS’s, VSL’s and more). Proactive condition evaluation, and the utilisation of our Asset Management system to follow through with relevant work orders.

To be successful in this position you will possess the following skills and experience:

  • NSW Electrical Licence.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and build relationships with all stakeholders including clients and team members.
  • Commitment to the highest standards of Safety, Quality and Environmental management.
  • Keen approach to learning and development.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Current Driver’s Licence.
  • Experience in the road/transport infrastructure industry.
  • Experience with operational road electrical and control systems as well as asset management systems. (Desirable)
  • EWP & MR Licences. (Desirable)
