About the Role

As one of our Digital Copywriters you will create, manage and optimise online copy for our digital sales channels – primarily agl.com.au – to deliver simple, intuitive and relevant copy experiences for our customers and drive acquisition.

  • This is a 12-month fixed term position (you will be paid a pro rata annual salary and get all the benefits of being an AGL employee).

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Create, manage and optimise copy for our customer facing website – agl.com.au
  • Work closely with UX design, UX research, Content Producers and Product Owners to enhance customer experience across agl.com.au and drive business value
  • Partner with internal Legal, Regulatory and Marketing teams to ensure ideas are expressed appropriately
  • Use insights and data to validate and optimise copy
  • Manage the copy creation lifecycle, from initiation and stakeholder management to approvals and online publication

About You

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Previous experience as a Digital Copywriter delivering copy for customer facing websites which drive online digital acquisitions
  • An understanding of UX writing and ability to translate complex content into simple copy
  • Experience using metrics and research to inform, validate and optimise copy
  • An understanding of SEO and experience optimising online copy for search
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills to build relationships and influence decision making on website copy
