Development Manager

We require an experienced Development Manager to join our Harpley Aurora development team. Aurora's unique appeal is the stellar new homes (approx. 3000) and community it introduces to the Northern Growth Corridor, a district already established and flourishing.Located just 3km from the Werribee CBD and 30km south-west of Melbourne, Harpley will be an easy escape from the city, and will offer direct access via the Princes Freeway.

Reporting to the Regional Senior Development Manager, you will play a lead role in the delivery of this large master-planned community through demonstrated experience in the complete development cycle; including, but not limited to brief preparation, design management, planning, marketing, sales, procurement, delivery, settlements, hand-over and customer service.

A tertiary qualification in a property related field will be essentialis required, ideally in an industry related field, as weill as your experience as a project manager or development manager of residential projects. Proven experience in the creation of development briefs, DA’s, proposals, and reports will also be key. Equally important will be your business and financial acumen, which will be applied to all elements (design, sales, budgets, settlements etc) of the project taking responsibility for the commercial viability of the project and ensuring business plan objectives are met.

A proactive attitude coupled with strong commercial acumen is essential; aligned with a strong focus on delivery, strong communication skills and a collaborative nature consistent with developing and maintain relationships across internal and external development functional teams to to achieve results.
