  • Are you interested in increasing economic growth for Regional NSW?
  • Can you assist in initiating innovative ideas in a rapidly changing industry and environment?

Working with us

The Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC) leads the NSW public sector in the delivery of the Government's commitments and priorities. We support the Premier, the Deputy Premier, the Cabinet, Ministers and agencies by coordinating policies and services across government, leading policy development, providing innovative ideas and supporting Government plans and projects.

As part of the DPC, the Office of Regional Development aims to provide better outcomes for the people of regional NSW by providing quality services and infrastructure, fostering cooperation between agencies in support of growing regional centres and identifying and activating economic potential.

This is achieved by working directly with businesses to identify economic growth opportunities, using data to inform regional policy and the design, prioritisation and effective delivery of regional NSW funding programs, influencing government agencies to ensure regional communities are the focus of Government actions and liaising with jurisdictions to ensure the smooth operation of cross-border services.
