About our team

Audit Transformation is a national team in the Assurance and Advisory business tasked with reimagining how we do audits. The team is committed to automation, driving process improvement, and technology and content deployment across a number of areas in our audit practice.

About the role

The Project Manager will report directly to the Audit Transformation Leader and Audit Risk Leader, both senior executives of Assurance & Advisory. The Project Manager will be responsible for driving the delivery of a major transformation project which includes interrelated work streams, including Change, Content, Technology, Learning, People and Delivery Centre work streams.

Our team is looking for a talented Project Manager for a 1-year contract position for to join the Audit Transformation to drive the delivery of this significant business project.

About your experience

You will have proven stakeholder management and influencing skills across all levels. Anticipating problems, connecting work streams and driving accountability will be critical to success. Advanced project management knowledge and use of project management tools to manage the project activities will be essential to meet the defined business objectives and requirements.

The ideal PMO Project Manager will have:

  • 5+ years’ experience in managing projects that are transformational in nature and encompass; technology, process improvement, outsourcing, change management
  • Effective written and oral communication skills to align with the dynamic stakeholder group
  • Experience working with multiple teams in multiple locations
  • A University degree or equivalent qualifications preferably in Business related field

About the opportunity

This function resides within the National Audit Transformation team in Sydney and work closely with the Assurance & Advisory Quality & Risk team and other business stakeholders across the firm, including Business Unit Leaders and the Information Technology Team.

You will;

  • Have responsibility to manage all aspects of project governance and execution as agreed with the Steering Committee
  • Manage IT and non-IT stakeholders
  • Work with the Work Stream Leaders to provide seamless integration, and drive accountability of agreed deliverables
  • Drive discipline in the project team, but be flexible to adapt to changing needs
  • Effectively manage the team skill sets to enable best prioritisation of effort
