Technology Management Consultant (IT Strategy and Innovation)


Our Melbourne Consulting practice is expanding and we are looking to speak with emerging Consultants and Senior Consultants to join our Technology, Strategy & Innovation team!

Today’s information technology landscape is more complex than ever, making it a challenge to have the right skills and resources to deliver cost-effectively. Within Technology, Strategy & Innovation (TS&I), we are enabling clients by offering tailored services and solutions in the following areas:

  • Technology Strategy/Innovation – Advise and guide clients on the development of their IT strategy for the next 5/10 years!
  • Technology Sourcing and Vendor Management - help organisations drive better value from IT by identifying services and approaches where third parties can be used, assisting with the procurement and configuration of these services, and setting up the governance required for effective operations
  • Enterprise Architecture – support and engage with clients on the design and implementation of their most complex problems, challenges and opportunities

We are looking to hire positions across these capabilities, ideally at the Consultant/Senior Consultant level (2-5 years’ experience) with experience in a client facing/advisory role. Experience in one or more of the following would be expected:

  • Strategic technology sourcing and procurement
  • Pure IT Strategy experience, either in house or in a professional services environment. Understanding of modern, innovative technology landscapes and solutions
  • Enterprise/Solution Architecture – experience in conducting the analysis, design and planning of an IT Strategy.

As a Consultant or Senior Consultant within our technology practice, you will be expected to learn, understand and apply Deloitte’s methodologies for delivering our core services. We can teach you a lot, as long as you demonstrate the attitude and work ethic to succeed.
