Tax Experienced Senior Analyst

About the Role

Our Tax Advisory team in Darwin is focused on providing expert tax advice and services to some of the region’s largest and most highly regarded businesses. Working on Corporate and International Tax transactions, M&A and restructures, and other transactional tax matters, you will be exposed to the day to day tax affairs of some of Northern Territory’s most complicated entities.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Experienced Senior Tax Analyst, with a hunger for career progression and development, to lead a high performing team and assist in driving business strategy.

You will be involved in the provision of a range of value added Tax services, including:

  • Delivering complex tax advice in relation to such matters as corporate restructures, acquisitions and divestments tax consolidation, trusts and estate planning, and other indirect taxes such as GST, FBT, and payroll tax
  • Project management and delivery of multiple client engagements, including, identification of issues and opportunities, research and preparation of advice on complex tax matters
  • Financial management of engagements, including assisting with proposals, budgeting, billing and controlling of work in progress
  • Building and managing trusted client relationships through exceptional client service
  • Manage and mentor our upcoming talent in the team through coaching and on the job training

About Your Experience
As an Experienced Senior Tax Analyst within this fast paced and dynamic Tax team, you will strive to make an impact that matters, by delivering quality advice across a range of complex areas. You will also possess the following skills and attributes;

  • Prior experience in a professional services or top-tier legal environment, in the international or corporate tax areas
  • Exposure to multinational companies, private equity or mid-cap listed firms is preferable
  • Degree qualified in Commerce and/or Law
  • As a self-starter you will have a strong track record of consistently driving results and taking the initiative
