About the role

The role of the Strategic Project Manager is to support the Assurance & Advisory office of the Chief Strategy Officer with the development of the overarching strategy for A&A, direct day to day operations of the A&A CSO and to take a leading role in the execution of priority strategic projects.As a Manager in the team you will focus on:

  • Support the CSO with the Audit Growth plan including full set of initiatives and prioritisation, and capture strategy for “must win” audits and monitor progress.
  • Preparation of CSO reporting to A&A Executive
  • Oversight of integration and performance of acquisitions against budget
  • Coordination across CSO sub workstreams to ensure consistency
  • Assist with the development of a propositions framework for A&A

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • 8+ years experience, ideally gained in Audit or Advisory work in the Professional Services industry
  • A strong track record of project management in a Big 4 environment
  • In-depth experience in governance, regulation and conduct issues within financial services
  • Leadership skills and previous experience with developing the capability of individuals, and influencing across the organisation to deliver high quality outcomes
  • Strong management, interpersonal and leadership skills
  • An ability to solve complex problems in a fast moving environment
  • An ability to work within budgets and time constraints
