Senior Resource Planner

This is an ideal opportunity for an individual who enjoys working with people and is looking to have a positive impact on the successful operation of our business.

About the role:

The primary focus of this role is to support the Tax scheduling function, whilst working really closely with your leader and the broader team. You will be the first point of contact for scheduling queries in Australia and will regularly liaise with a varied stakeholder groups from Partners and senior management through to our Vacationers.

Ultimately, we aim to have the right people scheduled on the right projects, balancing their abilities along with opportunities for development whilst incorporating Deloitte’s strive for client service excellence and engagement profitability.

Key duties include:

  • Proactively managing the scheduling of staff on engagements
  • Participation and contribution to geography, clusters and team meetings as required being able to forward plan resourcing options.
  • Understand the skills and experience along with the career aspirations of all practitioners enabling the business to support the correct deployment, therefore enabling personal growth and development. This should also have a positive effect on staff turnover.
  • Provide weekly management reports, variance and adhoc reporting.
  • Constant communication with all practitioners through face-to-face, telephone and email etc. enabling assessment of needs and wants in relation to career development.
  • Manage the risk/opportunity of deploying resources onto sold and potential work.
  • Provide an induction for all new joiners in relation to Resource Management.
  • Continuous improvement of resource management processes

  • Have strong administration skills to support the Resource Management team.
  • Have a desire to further the role and grow and develop your personal skill set
