Senior Manager - TS&I - Brisbane


Our Brisbane Consulting practice is expanding and we are looking to speak with emerging a strong and Senior Manager to join our Technology, Strategy & Innovation team to advise and guide our clients on the development of their IT strategy and Sourcing.

Today’s information technology landscape is more complex than ever, making it a challenge to have the right skills and resources to deliver cost-effectively. Within Technology, Strategy & Innovation (TS&I), we are enabling clients by offering tailored services and solutions.

At the Senior Manager level you will have 2-5 years of experience as a manager in a client facing/advisory role and a background in IT Strategy either in house or in a professional services environment and have a good understanding of modern, innovative technology landscapes and solutions. You will also possess 3 years’ experience from a top tier strategy consulting firm or within a strategic planning and sourcing


Required skills:

  • Experience in delivering the most up to date, relevant and valued technology advisory for our clients.
  • Experience in a technology sourcing role whereby you will act as an SME for all procurement and contractual agreements.
  • A proven background in understanding client technology requirements and matching them with a sound understanding of business implications to provide true business aligned technology advisory.
  • Develop multi-year technology strategy and roadmap for the portfolios involved
  • Experience and knowledge of industry leading technologies will provide you with a solid platform for delivering strategic advisory.
  • Prior IT Advisory experience within a Consulting environment required.
  • You will have managed senior stakeholders with strong written and verbal communications skills, and possess a thirst for knowledge whilst seeking out innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Engaging with senior stakeholders and possess the ability to have a customer focus.
  • Providing input and on contract management from complex ICT projects environment.
  • Business process re-engineering, continuous improvement of systems and processes using analytical tools and frameworks.
  • Providing advice on IT contract law, fair trading, freedom of information and other applicable legislations
  • Effective management of complex ICT procurement project processes from initiation through to contract execution and the effective influencing of stakeholders across the organisation
