Senior Manager - Operational Risk

We’re after an internal audit expert with a creative mind to transform and improve our clients’ risk management. Are you in?

What will your typical day look like?
Step into the office and be energised with your team’s vision of ongoing improvement and transformation of the Risk Advisory space. You will work with Board, Executive and Senior Management to transform our clients’ internal audit, assurance and risk management capabilities. Lead multidisciplinary teams to carry out transformation programs and internal audit plans that help clients manage their risks.

Companies are expected to improve margins from reduced costs - it’s a hard task if they don’t know where to focus controls to meet business needs. Our Operational Risk group transforms the ways in which clients use people, technology, data, business processes, and controls to address their operational risks and raise productivity.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you.
You will have:

  • Extensive experience in internal audit/ assurance/ risk management
  • Tertiary level qualification in a discipline with relevant professional accreditation (CIA/ CPA/ CA)
  • Proven experience in engaging senior industry partners and delivering reports, proposals and presentations
  • Experience in reviewing, crafting and building risk management strategies, operating models and plans
  • Experience in people management.
  • Experience in the mining sector is Highly Desirable.
