What will your typical day look like?
Based in Adelaide, we are looking for a Senior Consultant with solid experience in technology risk. In this role you will:

  • Lead a range of technology risk engagements (including IT assurance, IT risk management and IT controls advisory) across our clients in Financial Services, Public Sector, and Energy & Resources.
  • Work with senior client stakeholders to help them better understand and manage their technology risks through pragmatic and fit for purpose solutions.
  • Providing risk advisory support large digital and technology transformation programs
  • Lead teams to achieve successful engagement outcomes for the client and our business, including managing engagement risk, quality and finances.
  • Contribute to the development of our people through on-the-job coaching and structured training.
  • Support new revenue streams through identification and qualification of opportunities in the market, and contributing to business development activities.
  • Contribute to streamlining and innovating our technology risk service offerings.
  • Working with a diverse range of risk and technology consulting professionals to deliver integrated and impact driven solutions for clients.

We are seeking an individual who will be dedicated to assisting Deloitte achieve its vision to be the most inspiring firm to work with. You’ll have a background in technology risk and technology assurance. In particular, you will have:

  • Strong technical and project management skills. Professional services experience is preferable.
  • A strong desire to mentor and develop people from diverse backgrounds and skillsets.
  • Confidence in engaging senior business stakeholders, including technology leaders.
  • A focus on delivering programs of work which exceed your stakeholders’ expectations - including reports, proposals, and presentations.
  • Experience across a selection of relevant technology risk agendas, such as building technology risk management strategies, IT governance, cyber, cloud risk, third party risk, IT service management or risk associated with emerging technology.
  • A background of continuously developing and learning skills to serve evolving client needs. Preferably, tertiary level qualification in a discipline with relevant professional accreditation (such as CISA/CRISC/CISM), and/or professional qualifications such as CGEIT, ITIL, PRINCE2, PMP, CRISC.
