Senior Analyst - Forensic

About the role
We are looking for a Senior Analyst who will participate in the delivery of a wide range of exciting and challenging forensic accounting services to clients, primarily involving forensic accounting, litigation support and the preparation of independent expert reports for litigation matters.
In this role you will be exposed to:

  • The pre-eminent forensic practice in Australia
  • An energetic and dynamic environment, with approachable Partners within a flat structure
  • A large and diverse range of clients and engagements encompassing the full range of forensic services which includes investigations, disputes, financial crime advisory, forensic technology and analytics solutions
  • Deloitte forensic teams nationally and internationally
  • Diverse work where there is a solution to any problem and where the best solution for the client is always sought
  • Exceptional career development in a global business.

About your experience
You will bring with you the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Commerce or related field
  • CA/CPA qualified or nearing completion, or an eligibility to enrol and qualify as a chartered accountant
  • Ability to provide client service excellence through technical expertise, commercial acumen and communication
  • Strong financial, analytical, conceptual thinking and problem solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to think on your feet
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A motivation for continuous learning and development
  • The ability and willingness to travel on short notice
  • Previous experience relating to forensic accounting, litigation support, and the preparation of independent expert reports will be an advantage
  • Experience in valuations will be highly regarded but not essential.
