About the role:

The Geography Marketing & Business Development team is responsible for working with each of Deloitte’s key Markets to drive growth through the development and execution of key Marketing and Sales programs, campaigns and initiatives.

This Manager level role will help drive the Queensland Marketing & Business Development strategy, supporting the Head of Business Development & Marketing, QLD and the Queensland partners to position Deloitte in Brisbane for sustained growth across its most important clients and sectors.

You will:

  • Drive and execute campaigns and activities that directly contribute to revenue generation, brand eminence and relationship development.
  • Develop and deliver initiatives that leverage business development activities across key clients and priority sectors and enhance eminence in the local market.
  • Participate in pursuits, value proposition development and testing, and work collaboratively with the Strategic Bids team where relevant
  • Support clear communication within client service teams and facilitate communication and knowledge sharing across priority sectors in the region.
  • Track progress on, and report against, plans and analyse tactic effectiveness.
  • Support the Lead Client Service Partners and client service teams in the overall management of opportunity pipelines, including trend analysis.

About you:

To be successful in this role you must be an experienced and confident professional with at least 5 years’ experience in Business Development & Marketing roles, preferably in professional services, and a strong desire to drive continued growth at the world’s largest professional services firm.

You will have:

  • A proactive approach, and relentless focus on excellence in business development & marketing across professional services.
  • An understanding of sales processes, including the intersection of marketing campaigns and how they lead to engagement of clients and positioning to win work.
  • The ability to execute a Marketing & Business Development strategy in a commercial and results focussed manner.
  • Exceptional influencing and communication skills across all levels of an organisation, including with senior partners and leaders.
  • Proven success building professional networks to forge strong, long term working relationships.
  • The ability to work collaboratively and contribute effectively to the MCBD team to achieve overall Clients, Industry and Markets priorities.
  • Strong program and project management experience
  • Good spreadsheet and data analytical skills.
