Quality & Risk Manager (Tax and Legal)

We are seeking a Quality & Risk Manager who can apply their skills in understanding and applying risk management policies and guidance, and using innovative and creative solutions to solve problems.

About the opportunity:

In this outcomes focused role, you will have the opportunity to engage with and advise stakeholders as you grow and develop your risk management experience, including:

  • Providing innovative and commercial advice regarding risk management issues
  • Demonstrating your passion for problem solving, recognising risk and identifying quality deliverables
  • Engaging with teams to build their quality and risk management capabilities and encourage a risk-intelligent culture
  • Working closely with teams during the development of new products and services, assisting to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Participating in programmes to help the business identify strategic opportunities for improvement
  • Developing agile and simple tools, templates and frameworks
  • Thriving on working collaboratively on new and different issues

About your experience

You will be a high performing professional with a background in professional services, such as Tax, Legal or Accounting services, or you may have corporate experience in enterprise risk management, corporate governance or quality process improvement.

Key requirements include:

  • Bachelor Degree in Law, Commerce or similar
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • A proven ability to undertake thorough analysis and lateral thinking
  • Strong commercial understanding of strategic imperatives
  • Team player with proven ability to prioritise and deliver on multiple commitments
  • Professional experience or equivalent Quality & Risk management experience (5 years minimum)
