Operations Manager

About the opportunity:

Deloitte are looking for an Operations Manager to join us and have the primary responsibility of overseeing the Consulting offshore operations (in India and the Philippines), and overseeing international business travel for Deloitte employees.

About the work:


The role will involve the following:

  • Managing the Consulting pipeline and facilitating collaboration between the Australian and offshore offices
  • Resourcing Consulting engagements with offshore teams with an aim of retaining key resources on Australian projects
  • Producing and distributing all reporting and communications on Consulting’s offshore operations
  • Facilitating collaboration between the AU and offshore teams to drive optimal outcomes for Consulting engagements
  • Developing presentation materials and program reporting for key stakeholders
  • Overseeing the inbound and outbound travel process to India
  • Management of international outbound business travel (acting as SPOC for the business, supporting the travel administrators, and project managing the implementation of a global travel tool)
  • Management and oversight of adhoc projects and processes requiring process improvement, including liaison with technology, risk and legal stakeholders
  • Supporting the Director.

About you:

You will ideally have:

  • Completed a tertiary qualification in a related field and/or adequate experience in a similar environment and role (essential),
  • Project management experience
  • Strong stakeholder management and business skills
  • Experience in a Professional Services firm and an understanding, or willingness to learn, about Professional Services Firm
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Capacity to manage competing priorities within tight time frames
  • Competent in use of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio)
  • Be self motivated, proactive and driven.
