What will your typical day look like?
You will actively manage client engagements and partner with clients, partners and other professionals to create and implement innovative solutions to complex issues for our global clients and their international assignees, helping them to navigate their challenges.

Advise on issues such as employee and employer tax compliance requirements, tax effective remuneration planning, mobility and project planning and advisory.

You will work with a variety of multinational clients, giving you exposure to a range of issues and opportunities to build client relationships. You will be part of a wider team, working together with our global network of mobility tax specialists as well as immigration, employment taxes, equity and rewards, global workforce and the broader Australian tax practice to take holistic solutions to your clients.

Combining tax research and data analytics, we give advice on global compensation, visa and work permits, employment taxes, personal tax compliance and policy design for international assignments.

You are someone with:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Broad and deep experience in expatriate tax and mobility, having worked in this area in a professional services environment.
  • This includes all areas of Australian tax impacting global mobility such as Australian personal income tax, tax residency, capital gains tax, foreign income tax credits, employee share schemes, rental income, superannuation and other Australian employment tax obligations
  • Ability to handle a large volume of work, working across numerous multinational clients in various industries
  • Strong in project management, multi-tasking, prioritisation, responsiveness, delegation
  • Passionate about training, developing and coaching high performing teams, both in Australia and India
  • An eagerness and commitment to expand your focus and become a broader advisory professional as part of your future role Desire for self and career development
