Our Corporate & International Tax National team is focused on providing expert tax advice and services to some of the world’s largest and most highly regarded businesses in a number of industries including Oil & Gas, Financial Services, Mining, E&R Services, Consumer Business and Agribusiness.

About the role

We would like to hear from Corporate and International Tax professionals who are keen to support the exciting growth of our team. As a high performing Manager or Director you will work with experienced and diverse partners to advise some of Australia's largest corporate groups and multinational businesses as well as have the opportunity to advise on special projects and work with our global network of tax professionals.

The Corporate Tax role will include providing services & assistance in relation to:

  • Overall management of engagements – client relationship and engagement team management, delivering tailored, quality tax technical advice and managing several different projects and transactions concurrently
  • Building client relationships and identifying opportunities for growth of the client base
  • Leading, coaching and motivating staff
  • Providing advice in relation to industry specific issues
  • Domestic and cross-border transactional based engagements
  • Delivering tax compliance functions for clients, including tax returns and tax effect accounting
  • Maintaining quality control

About your experience

Degree qualified in Accounting or Law is preferred, as is a progressive and “can-do” attitude. You will have completed the CA or a Masters of Tax, and have experience with another "Big 4" or "second tier" chartered accounting or legal firm in the corporate tax area. Ideally you will have specialist capabilities and skills in an area of tax law or tax practise.

You will be tasked with building strong client relationships, advising multinational companies, mid-cap listed and large private companies and contributing to the culture of the tax team.
