M&A Transaction Services - Senior Analyst/Manager


Over the last few years we have played a critical role in helping our clients successfully undertake some of Australia’s leading M&A and Capital Market transactions.

Following sustained strong growth, a number of promotions and international mobility transfers in our Brisbane office, we have opportunities for Senior Analysts and Managers to fast track their career with Deloitte.

About the Opportunity

Our Brisbane based team regularly collaborates with colleagues in Deloitte’s national M&A practice to deliver multi-disciplinary insights to our clients, supporting them throughout the transaction lifecycle.

As a Transaction Services practitioner, some of your day to day activities will include:

  • Partnering with leading Australian private and listed corporates, global enterprises, private equity firms and Government departments
  • Helping our clients execute complex transactions through pre-acquisition analysis, financial due diligence and forecast reviews
  • Reporting on potential key issues for our clients, including identification of risk or price factors impacting investment decisions as well as areas of opportunity
  • Opportunities to mentor and coach a team as well as to participate in business development

About You

We are looking for highly motivated people ready to make a change or to progress their career in M&A. Ideally, you would have some or all of the following desirable attributes:

  • Desire to work as part of a collaborative, successful team and contribute to our innovative, open-minded and inclusive culture
  • A curious mind-set as to the strategic and financial drivers of value
  • Experience in audit, assurance, business, financial due diligence or corporate finance
  • Undergraduate degree in finance and/or accounting
  • Post graduate qualification or currently studying, e.g. CA, CFA, Masters in Applied Finance or MBA
