Human Capital Workforce Transformation Manager

About the role

Today’s business challenges present a new wave of workforce and organisational priorities. Deloitte’s Human Capital team leverages industry insights research and analytics to design and execute strategic workforce redesign programs: from business driven tech-enabled emergent technology solutions to innovative talent leadership and change programs.

As a Manager within our Human Capital practice you will be expected to learn understand and apply Deloitte’s methodologies for delivering our core services. Other expectations are described below in the context of each of our major service areas.

About you

We are looking for Managers with experience in the following areas to work on large-scale business transformation opportunities in the Public Sector. All applicants will need to be Australian Citizens with the ability to obtain or reactivate a security clearance.

Experience in the following areas is highly regarded:

  • Workforce strategy and planning
  • Work and workforce redesign
  • Technical fluency in leading Ai trends
  • Strong analytical problem solving and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and think beyond transactional delivery
  • Strong understanding of the consulting process and core competency skills

Functions/Tasks

  • Manage clients - build and manage relationships interact with senior client stakeholders
  • Manage projects - develop and manage project solutions plans scope variations risk and knowledge management
  • Manage fees - track against key metrics conduct billing and account management
  • Lead people - manage counsel coach mentor

About your experience

We are looking for a range of profiles. You may be a seasoned professional with 7-10 years’experience looking for an opportunity to work on a large-scale transformation and influence stakeholders at the executive level.

Your skills

  • Structured problem solving critical thinking
  • Analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills;
  • Collaborative working style - ability to develop strong relationships with peers and teams;
  • Competency with IT systems
  • Relevant Undergraduate/ Masters qualification to support above skills and understanding of business drivers and workplace change (e.g. Organisational Psychology Leadership Business MBA)

For more senior practitioners

  • 5+ years leadership experience
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Expertise in a chosen industry or Subject Matter Expert in a chosen competency
  • Ability to develop and manage to a project plan
