Cyber Strategy & Architecture Director (Brisbane)

About the role

We are looking for a strong cyber leader, with significant experience of large scale cyber strategy, solution architecture and business change. As a member of our national team you will have a unique opportunity to engage with client leaders and to shape & influence their digital transformation agendas.

Our engagements typically involve business analysis and data flow mapping, cyber risk and capability assessment, stakeholder workshops, strategy and architecture development and program management. Deloitte has a number of leading global cyber methodologies and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to connect and share insights with other practioners across our network.

About you
We are seeking the following experience and qualifications:

  • Demonstrable level of experience in the cyber security field
  • A technical cyber background, with prior experience of cyber solution scoping/business case development, solution architecture and deployment within a large scale organisation (i.e. over 10,000 users).
  • Broad knowledge of contemporary cyber solutions and the vendor landscape, and their strengths/weaknesses to mitigate specific types of cyber risks.
  • Experience in business analysis, stakeholder engagement, root cause analysis, data flow mapping and cyber risk assessment.
  • Knowledgeable in cyber frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001 and NIST.
  • Recent experience of cyber strategy development and program management.
  • Crisp communication skills, with an excellent standard of English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to provide insight based on past experience on recommended actions.
  • Ability to navigate an organisational structure in a short amount of time.
  • Be able to navigate challenges posed by clients and highlight risks as well as solutions for mitigating risks identified.
  • Awareness of changes occurring globally in the privacy and data protection space

One or more of the following areas are desirable:

  • Experience in designing and deploying cyber solutions within cloud and hybrid on-premise/off-premise contexts
    Experience in securing devops
    Experience in securing operational technology (OT)
    Experience in detective cyber solutions such as SIEM and behavioural analytics

The minimum salary offered for this role is $160,000 inclusive of a 9.5% superannuation
