Want to make the future a better place to work?

Deloitte is seeking a content strategist who can help its clients truly engage with their most important asset – their people.

Our Human Capital practice in Melbourne helps clients transform their organisations, ensuring they stay ahead of the changes that are constantly shaping the world around us. We’re looking for a client-facing content strategist who understands the needs of internal communications audiences and can truly engage them with the stories of change.

About the team

We’re storytellers and designers sharing a common purpose: making the workplace more human.

Our team is dedicated to transforming the way clients engage with their most important asset – their people. Our mission is to help organisations understand and connect with employees, just as marketers connect with the consumer. We understand the value of an engaged workforce and the impact this has on efficiency, productivity and wellbeing. Our narrative design team plays a key role in defining ‘why’ change is happening and taking audiences along on the journey through engaging and immersive experiences that truly drive behavioural change.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You’re as comfortable developing narrative strategy, messaging and copy as you are preparing communications plans and content calendars. You love sitting down with stakeholders to understand the challenges they’re trying to solve and the audiences they’re trying to reach. You’re a great listener who’s able to ask the questions no one thinks to ask.

You have a genuine interest in making workplaces better places – helping organisations realise the potential that lies in their people. Working with the public and private sector as they change the way things get done – whether they’re unleashing innovation, unlocking productivity, energising workforces or improving wellbeing. You’ll be part of a team that is truly transforming work for people – today and tomorrow.

Are you ready to connect audiences to the ‘why’ of work?

We’d like to hear from you able to:

  • articulate the ‘why’ of change for clients
    • uncovering insights
    • conceptual thinking
  • write great copy – across all kinds of content
    • mission statements
    • digital copy
    • video scripts
  • create content strategy that changes behaviour
    • audience segmentation
    • empathy mapping
    • content planning
  • work independently or as part of a team
    • project-based work
    • diverse industries and sectors
  • engage stakeholders across the journey
    • interviewing stakeholders
    • facilitating workshops
    • client liaison

Why Deloitte?

At Deloitte, we create positively differentiated work experiences that enable our people to feel valued and achieve their full potential. We value difference, and embrace people with diverse backgrounds and thinking styles. Knowing that people work best in different ways, we are happy to discuss alternative arrangements if the working pattern you are looking for is not specifically indicated.
