What will your typical day look like?

Step into the office, make yourself a cuppa and get stuck right into analysing financial data to excavate meaningful insights for our clients regarding their performance and operations.

Expect every day to be different as you work with other Deloitte teams like audit, tax and family enterprise advisory. Your core focus will be Advisory and Transactions and other days, you could be supporting financial year-end close processes (i.e. reconciling general ledger accounts, financial statements, tax reconciliations). On another, you might be presenting findings and recommendations to senior staff and clients!

In short, your research and advice has the potential to shape the future of our clients’ businesses. Pretty cool, right?

Stepping into Deloitte Private Commercial Advisory, you can expect to be a part of an inclusive team and assisting retail motor industry clients through sale and purchase transactions. We’re a bit uneasy with the average and seek to help clients navigate change and shape their local and global industries.

You are someone with:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in business, finance, accounting or commerce related degree
  • Qualified chartered accountant or looking begin the Chartered Accountants Program
  • First professional experience in a professional services and/or consulting environment
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
