Business Transformation - Senior Consultant (16 month contract)

About the Opportunity

Our Transformation team is committed to fast tracking the modernisation of our Financial Advisory group and building an innovative, forward thinking and disruptive business that will deliver a state-of-the-art client and employee experience.

In this role, you will provide a pragmatic and flexible approach to planning and driving change. This will require you to:

  • Leverage your Change Management expertise and understand the business drivers to build change readiness and embed the identified transformation initiatives
  • Showcase your financial and commercial acumen to managing projects and executing on their outcomes in an agile way
  • Partner with our senior executives to plan, deliver and communicate on projects effectively

In practical terms, your key deliverables will be to:

Streamline and Improve Processes

  • Update and maintain a Change Management & Streamlining Toolkit for business usage
  • Ensure successful BAU transition of recent streamlining work related to Proposals and Deliverables


Unique Client Experience

  • Develop a Business Case for Unique Client Experience solutions e.g. Workshops and Labs
  • Manage the delivery of Unique Client Experience curriculum with our Talent Development team

Think Tank Week – Accelerating Digital Innovation

  • Deliver ‘Think Tank’ week for two of our specialist Financial Advisory groups
  • Identify priority marketing video requirements and oversee the filming execution

New Revenue Delivery Models

  • Assist in the coordination of business stakeholders through the model development process
  • Track the business case and funding requirements of the new delivery models against leadership expectations
  • Assess impact of introducing new delivery models in the workforce
  • Design and execute on change and communications to educate and excite impacted practitioners and partners

Financial Rigour and Analysis

  • Develop and own the financial tracking of all Transformation initiatives
  • Consider data visualisation as a way of communicating financial analysis to key business stakeholders

Adhoc Project Requirements

  • Ad hoc change approaches, financial analysis, communications and presentations as requested by Transformation Director and Manager

About You

Ideally, you will have more than 3 years of experience in a strategy consulting, business transformation or change management role, gained in a consulting firm or in an industry corporate development team.

You will also be able to demonstrate some of the following attributes and experience:

  • Solid understating of Organisational Change Management principles – e.g. Change Canvas development, Stakeholder analysis and planning, Change readiness assessment, creating Measures of Success, Change Impact Assessment, Transition to BAU Plans etc.
  • Structured problem solving skills and analytical thinking with the ability to provide insight and exercise mature judgment
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • Financial and commercial acumen with project delivery and execution
  • Design thinking, creative and innovation capabilities
  • Exposure and an interest in new technical solutions that are ‘disrupting’ the way we work
  • Proven skills as a team member on at least one major Transformation project
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a range of clients
  • Prior consulting / professional services experience would be preferred
