As a Business Service Officer in our Tax Management Consulting team you can expect to help business create new best practice standards in tax processes, controls, outputs and automation solutions.
About the role:
The Business Operations Team in the Tax & Legal practice is responsible for the ownership of the end-to-end compliance function for a small pilot set of clients. This team consists of Australian and EDC (Hyderabad, India) team members.
As the Business Service Officer you will be responsible for providing administrative compliance management and supporting the Workflow process & Optimization Lead and Business Operations Lead in ensuring the smooth running of the Business Operations team function.
Your primary role is the management, coordination, quality oversight and maintenance of the administrative functions of compliance engagements within the Tax & Legal Business Unit. The purpose of this role is to provide outstanding centralised compliance engagement coordination, consistent service support and proactively manage the administrative function, ensuring that correct hygiene and procedures are followed delivering excellence in operational efficiencies. Key duties will include but are not limited to setting up client briefings, delivering data requests, engagement set up, drafting letters, lodgement and billings.
You will regularly liaise with a varied stakeholder group, including our EDC team in India to ensure the effective performance and high quality standards of the Business Operations Team within the Tax & Legal practice.
You will be able to operate in a transforming environment, as the operating model shifts and changes to deliver on operational best practice.
You will be able to to build strong professional relationships, while implementing best practice in operations/project management to maximise financial return. You will have sound skills in MS Office and experience with data bases such as Sharepoint.
