We are looking for a Business Development and Marketing Manager - Telecommunications, Media and Entertainment Sector to join us on an 8 Month Fixed Term Contract

What will your typical day look like?

You will be delivering a Business Development and Marketing program for Deloitte’s Telecommunications, Media and Entertainment clients in Australia with a strong emphasis on the execution against the sector strategy including marketing activations. The program may also include origination of both relationships and opportunities in the Sector market. All activities are aimed at growth and are to align with our Firm’s commitments and protect its reputation.

You will work with leadership to grow Deloitte’s presence in the market, drive best practice initiatives aimed at growth, and work with leadership and other parts of the marketing function to design and deliver iconic marketing activations. This includes the development and delivery of brand and eminence activities, relationship plans, marquee campaigns and strategic communications.

You will be a persuasive, tenacious, flexible and pragmatic self-starter and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to clearly articulate ideas and present concepts convincingly to a range of audiences

You will also have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working in Professional Services
  • Demonstrable experience in building strong client and senior stakeholder relationships
  • Proven track record of being a critical member of a high-performing team
  • Experience in Telecommunications, Media, Entertainment sector desired but not essential
