About our team
Our Deloitte Private – Family Enterprise Advisory team comprising over 45 partners and 500+ professionals across every State of Australia is looking for talented professionals to assist deliver growth opportunities. This team works with some of Australia’s most iconic families and private enterprises. The team delivers a broad range of services that include Finance Function Support, Compliance Services and Complex Advisory offerings.

The team have long been acknowledged as the No 1 brand in the market place and are looking to expand in all locations within Australia and in particular in Hobart, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney, and Parramatta.

About the role
As a Manager in our Hobart team, you will provide broad commercial advice to our private clients. You will work in small teams, participate in structured training and receive specific coaching designed to support your career development. You will also lead the performance, careers and development of a group of talented junior staff.

Your client portfolio will include a range of clients that may range from start up right through to large mature trading business and family offices.

You will manage your clients on our market leading cloud technology platform Private Connect ( and in turn assist your clients realise the streamline, reporting and insight benefits of its use in their family groups.

You will be invited to contribute to and lead projects that support the overall team strategy. No two days are the same and you will definitely be stimulated, challenged and always learning!

About your experience
An experienced Manager with a passion for developing talent within the team, you will also possess the following skills and attributes:

• Prior Manager-level exposure advising Private clients, ideally within a Big 4 or mid-tier firm
• Proven experience building and leading high performing teams with a service excellence approach
• You will have an accounting or related degree and have completed your CA program or the equivalent
• A naturally inquisitive mindset and desire to understand your clients overall operations, allowing you to deliver the most impactful outcomes
