What will your typical day look like?

We work with key government departments and agencies to support management in making sound, information decisions in a timely manner. We do this by working closely with finance functions to reshape financial and management reporting ensuring that it meets the needs of management and the business. We aim to continuously improve the level of transparency taxpayers have regarding the use of public funds.

About the team

In Government Advisory, our team are specialist advisors in Finance Function Effectiveness, large accounting transactions and specialised finance outsourcing providing advice across a wide range of industries.
We help clients make their finance functions more efficient and effective. Join an innovative team of accountants and get involved in offering services like financial and management reporting, regulatory compliance, fintech and finance process improvements!

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Anywhere from 5 – 8 years of experience in a related field
  • Qualifications in an economics/accounting/finance degree and/or CA qualification or equivalent
  • Commercial experience within an accounting function and/or previous experience in external audit
  • Strong technical accounting skills
  • Experience leading and mentoring a team
  • Well-developed relationship management skills
  • Assisting clients to identify, prioritise and resolve issues
  • Excellent collaborative skills, precision thinking and a dedicated work ethic
